Collin Nord kept the Big Bend (17-13) off the board during his 6 2/3 innings of work and the Yakima Valley (19-13) beat the Big Bend, 3-0.

Nord struck out four and allowed two walks and two hits.

Andrew Castillo had a hot bat for the Yakima Valley. Castillo went 2-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the sixth inning.

Kaleb Price was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Yakima Valley batters and allowing zero runs.

Ross Tassara recorded his fourth win of the year for the Yakima Valley. Tassara struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Patrick OSullivan couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Big Bend, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
