Sunday was a great day for Ryan McIntyre, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Windy City ThunderBolts (26-47) to a 17-4 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies (44-29) at GCS Ballpark.

Andrew Brauer delivered a big hit off the bench in the one.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Windy City ThunderBolts' 13-run win.

With Brauer came to the plate and singled.

The Windy City ThunderBolts ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Windy City ThunderBolts scored six runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Windy City ThunderBolts scored five runs in the seventh on the Windy City ThunderBolts scored in the seventh on a two-run single by Mike Torres, a single by Kyle Robinson, , a groundout by Davidson Peguero, and a single by Max White.

Travis Tingle got the win, running his season record to 7-5. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Aaron Newcomb (9-5) took the loss for the Gateway Grizzlies. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked three and struck out four.
