A walk-off single from Wander Ramos brought home the winning run for the Rockford Aviators (4-6) in a 5-4 victory over the Florence Freedom (5-5) in 12 innings at Aviators Stadium on Tuesday.

Ramos racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockford Aviators. He singled in the first, fourth, and twelfth innings.

Jose Martinez reached base four times in the game for the Rockford Aviators. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Ryan Zimmerman had an impressive outing against the Florence Freedom's lineup. Zimmerman gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Michael Schaub improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Rockford Aviators. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered no hits.

Daniel DeSimone (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
