The River City Rascals (1-0) beat the Rockford Aviators (0-1) 2-0 on Friday at Aviator Stadium behind Hector Crespo, who went 1-3.
He doubled in the eighth inning.The Rockford Aviators had no answer for Dane Stone, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Rockford Aviators managed just one hit off of Stone, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.
