The Everett (11-12) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-4 to the Shoreline (5-17) on Sunday.
While the Everett led until the seventh inning, the Shoreline worked their way back and took the lead.
Chase Kairis picked up the win for the Shoreline. Kairis pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out five.
Kyle Nobach had a hot bat for the Everett. Nobach went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning.
Michael Wood ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
