The Edmonds (16-2) built an early lead against the Shoreline (4-10), scoring seven runs in the first inning, en route to a 11-7 win on Sunday at Meridian.
TC Florentine racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Edmonds. He singled in the first, second, third, and seventh innings.
Mike McCormack pitched lights out for the Shoreline. McCormack gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out one during his five innings of work.
Even though Andrew Kemmerer allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. Kemmerer struck out four, walked three and gave up six hits.
Josh Lang (1-2) took the loss for the Shoreline. He allowed 10 runs in one inning, walked one and struck out one.
