Faith Clark had two extra base hits as the Edmonds (4-9) took home a 5-4 victory over the Skagit Valley (9-19) in seven innings at Triton Field on Friday.
He doubled in the second inning, homered in the fourth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.Rachel McKean racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Skagit Valley. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Sierra Card improved to 1-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Edmonds. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out nine, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
Holly Hawkins (2-9) took the loss for the Skagit Valley. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
Arista Honey, Hollie Sharp and Clark helped lead the Edmonds. They combined for seven hits and four RBIs.
