The Moose Jaw Miller Express (19-19) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the Yorkton Cardinals (16-20) dominated in a 9-2 win at Jubilee Park.

Kameron Mizzell racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He doubled in the first inning, tripled in the fourth innings, and singled in the second and eighth innings.

The Yorkton Cardinals relied on Jeff Pool to eat up innings en route to the win. Pool allowed two earned runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out two over eight innings of work.

The Yorkton Cardinals had no answer for Connor Keating, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Keating held the Yorkton Cardinals hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Jason Renner couldn't get it done on the bump for the Moose Jaw Miller Express, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out one.
