Greg Rogers went 2-4 and hit a home run, helping the Regina Red Sox (24-13) to a 5-3 victory over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (15-22) on Sunday at Cairns Field, Saskatoon, SK.

Tyler Shumpert brought the heat against the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets during his outing. The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets managed just two hits off of Shumpert, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets' Connor Lloyd. Lloyd went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Kyle Sonntag ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
