The Spokane make the most of 9 hits in 6-5 victory over the Big Bend

The Spokane (13-7) and the Big Bend (12-8) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Spokane capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at BBCC Baseball Field .

Lucas Denney racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Spokane. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

The Big Bend couldn't get anything going so long as Zachary Haggett was on the hill. The Big Bend managed just two hits off of Haggett, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Jon Dailey put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Big Bend. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Dailey couldn't get it done on the mound for the Big Bend, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
