Boxscore | Game Recap | Boxscore Text Version | Gamelive Version

The Spokane make the most of 8 hits in 4-3 victory over the Walla Walla

Story by Narrative Science.

Both the Spokane (22-17) and the Walla Walla (26-11) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Spokane that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at Warrior Field .

Daniel Rowton was hot from the plate for the Spokane. Rowton went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the eighth inning.

The Spokane relied on Kyler Brooks to eat up innings en route to the win. Brooks allowed two earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out one over 7 2/3 innings of work.

The Spokane had no answer for Levi Rudolph, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Rudolph gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out none during his five innings of work.

AJ Carkner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
