Tuesday was a great day for Ashlee Mueller, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Mt. Hood (15-0) to an 11-6 victory over the Lower Columbia (9-2) at Saints Field in seven innings.
Kristen Crawford struck out four hitters en route to the the Mt. Hood win. The Mt. Hood's pitcher gave up just four hits over four shutout innings.
Haley Hibbs racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia. He homered in the third inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.
Amber Gilbert was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out none.
The Mt. Hood hammered the Lower Columbia pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
