The Douglas (12-12) beat the Olympic (6-23) 5-3 in seven innings on Saturday at Whalley Little League Park behind Jackson Temple, who went 1-2.

Matt Trimble struck out six hitters en route to the the Douglas win. Trimble allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks over seven innings.

Ethan Syverson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked six, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
