The Everett (16-20) shut the door early on the Olympic (6-31), capturing a 13-2 victory on Saturday at Kitsap County Fairgrounds .

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Everett to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Kevin Whatley, a two-run double by Brad Monson, an RBI single by Joe Morgan, an RBI single by John Naff, and a three-run double by Wade Curtis in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Everett.

Morgan went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Everett.

Alex Koeplin handled the Olympic's lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Koeplin allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks over five innings.
