The Everett (15-19) beat the Skagit Valley (13-20) 8-1 in seven innings on Monday at Everett Memorial Stadium after a five-run explosion in the first inning.
Sam Lee racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Everett. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
The Everett relied on Tanner Braun to eat up innings en route to the win. Braun allowed no earned runs, three hits and one walk while striking out one over seven innings of work.
JEFF FROST was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
