Paige Hughes knocked in three runs as the Highline (8-14) took home a 7-3 victory over the South Puget Sound (0-19) in seven innings at RAC - Lacey on Friday.

Kayla Andrus picked up the win for the Highline. Andrus pitched seven innings and allowed three earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out four.

Jordanne Krumpols racked up two RBIs on one hit for the South Puget Sound. He homered in the fourth inning.

Amanda Rupright ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixteenth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out three.
