The Wenatchee Valley top the Treasure Valley behind Hazen's 4 hits, 18-3

A superb effort by Sidney Hazen carried the Wenatchee Valley (29-5) to an 18-3 win in five innings over the Treasure Valley (27-13) on Saturday at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball.

Hazen racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Wenatchee Valley. He homered in the second and third innings and singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

The Wenatchee Valley blew out the Treasure Valley thanks to 19 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Wenatchee Valley scored seven runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Haley Hess, an RBI single by Ashley Wilkey, an RBI single by Wilkey, an RBI single by Kinley Pope, an RBI single by Julia Rambo, an RBI single by Rambo, an RBI single by Hazen, and a two-run single by Becky Wall.

Lindsey Stover got on base two times in the game for the Treasure Valley. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning.

Rambo recorded his fifteenth win of the year for the Wenatchee Valley. He allowed three runs over five innings. Rambo struck out three, walked four and gave up four hits.

Jessica Capson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Treasure Valley, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked one and struck out none.
