Jandee Carlson clubbed two home runs to carry the Treasure Valley (27-13) to a 21-0 win over the Yakima Valley (17-17) at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball in five innings.

Carlson racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the Treasure Valley. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third innings.

The offense exploded for the the Treasure Valley in the third. In the inning the Treasure Valley scored 15 runs.

The Yakima Valley's lineup had no answer for Bailey Bennett. The Yakima Valley managed just one hit off of the the Treasure Valley's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Ashley Hayes (1-4) took the loss for the Yakima Valley. He allowed 10 runs in two innings, walked three and struck out one.

The Treasure Valley hammered the Yakima Valley pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
