Drury leads the Treasure Valley to 10-2 win over the Walla Walla

Colin Drury clubbed two home runs to carry the Treasure Valley (30-8) to a 10-2 win over the Walla Walla (26-10) at Elks Memorial .

The Treasure Valley blew out the Walla Walla thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. A three-run home run by Brady Baker and a solo home run by Drury helped the Treasure Valley score four runs in the third. The Treasure Valley had four hits in the inning.

The Walla Walla couldn't get anything going as long as Cody Mathews was pitching. Mathews gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

The Treasure Valley's lineup had no answer for Michael Schmidt. Schmidt held the Treasure Valley hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

James McDonald got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed two runs over six innings. McDonald struck out none, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Brandon Costello ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked none and struck out none.

Baker, Chase Hernandez, Lane Lacrone and Drury helped lead the Treasure Valley. They combined for nine hits and nine RBIs.
