A magnificent effort by Tanner Lupton hoisted the Treasure Valley (16-4) to a 4-2 win over the Wenatchee Valley (8-12) on Saturday at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.
Lupton racked up 11 strikeouts in the the Treasure Valley win. Lupton allowed two earned runs, one hit and three walks over nine innings.
A bright spot for the Wenatchee Valley in the defeat was Lars Rider, who allowed only three runs while striking out nine.
Rider couldn't get it done on the hill for the Wenatchee Valley, taking a loss.
