Reign Letkeman went 2-4 as the Big Bend (19-15) took home a 9-4 victory over the Wenatchee Valley (12-23) at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium on Saturday.
He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.Evan Johnson was solid at the plate for the Wenatchee Valley. Johnson went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
James SanMiguel brought the heat against the Big Bend during his outing. The Big Bend managed just three hits off of the the Wenatchee Valley's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Daniel Deaton recorded his fifth win of the year for the Big Bend. He allowed four runs over eight innings. Deaton struck out three, walked two and gave up nine hits.
Kyle Blankenship (3-6) took the loss for the Wenatchee Valley. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
