Early lead gives the Big Bend easy victory over the Blue Mountain, 13-2

The Big Bend (15-10) beat the Blue Mountain (5-19) 13-2 in eight innings on Wednesday at Pendleton, OR after a seven-run explosion in the third inning.

Herbert KJ racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Big Bend. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the first and fourth innings.

Jon Dailey struck out seven hitters en route to the the Big Bend win. Dailey allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

Dakota Walker pitched lights out for the Blue Mountain. The Big Bend managed just one hit off of Walker, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Cesar Catibayan was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.
