The Green River (5-14) didn't stand a chance on Friday, as the Pierce (11-15) captured a blowout 10-2 win in eight innings at Service Club- Kent.

The Pierce scored four runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Tricia Bonifacio, an RBI double by Brittanie Halquist, a double by Halquist, a fielder's choice, a single by Courtney Cox, , and a sacrifice fly by Katie Soran.

Halquist had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits.

Karlee Rose Perry picked up the win for the Pierce. Rose Perry pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

Aris Califano put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Green River. He doubled in the third and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.

Rachel Barcena ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his twelfth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out seven.

The Pierce's Halquist, Molly LaMotte, Cox and Amanda Allison combined for 12 hits and five RBIs.
