The Grays Harbor (3-12) and the Green River (4-11) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Grays Harbor that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Service Club- Kent.

Amanda Anderson was hot from the plate for the Grays Harbor. Anderson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth innings.

Despite the loss, the Green River's Kenicia McLellan dominated the Grays Harbor's batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Jenny Benn recorded his third win of the year for the Grays Harbor. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

McLellan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
