The Grays Harbor fall 11-1 at the hands of the Green River

The Grays Harbor (2-25) didn't have a chance on Sunday, as the Green River (7-23) won in blowout fashion, 11-1 in seven innings at Heritage Park.

The Green River scored four runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Andrew Sansom, an RBI single by Billy Hernandez, an RBI single by Hernandez, a groundout by Matt Seeley, and an RBI single by Justin Burns.

Burns racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Green River.

The Green River got the win thanks in large part to Christian Meister's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. Meister allowed one earned run, three hits and four walks over six innings.

Derik Rubin was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out six.

The Green River easily handled the Grays Harbor pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, seven RBIs and 10 runs scored.
