The Yakima Valley (7-7) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Treasure Valley (13-9), recording a 10-4 victory on Friday at Dunbar Field .

The game was decided quickly as the Yakima Valley exerted their will early with seven runs in the first three innings.

A sacrifice fly by Josee Saldua, an RBI single by Daphne Fisher, and a fielder's choice in the first inning and a two-run single by Sadey Barnes and a two-run double by Saldua during the second inning helped the Yakima Valley put some runs on the board early.

Barnes racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Yakima Valley.

Lindsey Stover had two extra-base hits for the Treasure Valley. He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Kayla Reynolds recorded his fifth win of the year for the Yakima Valley. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Bailey Bennett couldn't get it done on the bump for the Treasure Valley, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.
