Nicole Kilmer clubbed two home runs to carry the Grays Harbor (2-8) to a 10-3 win over the South Puget Sound (0-14) at Bishop Athletic Complex in seven innings.
Seven runs in the opening three innings allowed the Grays Harbor to easily put away the South Puget Sound. A two-run home run by Crystal Knight, a two-run home run by Shannon Glenn, and a solo home run by Kilmer in the first inning and a two-run home run by Kilmer during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Grays Harbor.
Jenny Benn's six strikeouts were enough to push the Grays Harbor past the South Puget Sound. Benn allowed three earned runs on three hits and three walks over seven innings.
Amanda Rupright was charged with his twelfth loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked five and struck out eight.
