The Terre Haute Rex need walk-off double to beat the West Virginia Miners, 2-1

A walk-off double from Ryan Sabo brought home the winning run for the Terre Haute Rex (34-20) in a 2-1 victory over the West Virginia Miners (34-20) in 11 innings at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad on Tuesday.

The Terre Haute Rex were led by Sabo's hitting. Sabo went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the eleventh inning.

Tony Rosselli led the Terre Haute Rex's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He doubled in the ninth inning and singled in the eleventh inning.

Ben Morrison improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Morrison struck out three, walked none and gave up no hits.

Dalton Curtis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
