Jose Flores kept the Butler Blue Sox (34-19) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Lorain County Ironmen (19-34) beat the Butler Blue Sox, 6-2.

Flores struck out five and allowed two walks and four hits.

Billy Salem was hot from the plate for the Lorain County Ironmen. Salem went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Denis Lyman couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Butler Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
