Brandon Allen held the Quincy Gems (31-19) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Terre Haute Rex (31-19) to a 1-0 victory.

Allen struck out two and allowed no walks and five hits.

Brad Lombard recorded his second win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jake Wehde couldn't get it done on the mound for the Quincy Gems, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
