Manuel De Jesus went 2-3, helping the Terre Haute Rex (30-19) to a 2-1 victory over the Quincy Gems (31-18) on Thursday at Quincy Stadium.

Levi Primasing pitched lights out for the Terre Haute Rex. The Quincy Gems managed just two hits off of Primasing, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out six during his seven innings of work.

Kyle Cedotal was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Terre Haute Rex batters and allowing two runs.

Cedotal (4-2) took the loss for the Quincy Gems.
