The West Virginia Miners (30-19) didn't have a chance on Wednesday, as the Lorain County Ironmen (18-30) won in blowout fashion, 12-5 at The Pipe Yard.

Logan Landon improved to 2-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Lorain County Ironmen. He allowed two runs over five innings. Landon struck out one, walked three and gave up six hits.

Cody Smith (4-2) took the loss for the West Virginia Miners. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
