The Danville Dans (27-23) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 11-2 win over the Springfield Sliders (11-37) at Danville Stadium.

Chase Thurston got the win, running his season record to 1-3. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Geoff Boylston couldn't get it done on the mound for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
