A walk-off single from Tanner Reibenspies brought home the winning run for the Champion City Kings (19-26) in a 6-5 victory over the Danville Dans (24-22) at Davidson Stadium on Monday.

Reibenspies paced the Champion City Kings at the plate. Reibenspies went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the sixth and ninth innings.

The Champion City Kings' Jake Bennett was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.

Aaron Cross improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Champion City Kings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jack Simons ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
