Austin Bryant had two extra base hits, sparking the Danville Dans (23-18) to a 4-1 victory over the Springfield Sliders (7-32) on Tuesday at Robin Roberts Field.

The Danville Dans relied on Mark Hendrick to eat up innings en route to the win. Hendrick allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Jose Marin brought the heat against the Danville Dans during his outing. The Danville Dans managed just one hit off of Marin, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Blake Thomas couldn't get it done on the bump for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
