Derek Moore kept the Hannibal Cavemen (17-25) off the board during his 6 2/3 innings of work and the Chillicothe Paints (29-13) beat the Hannibal Cavemen, 8-2.

Moore struck out five and allowed no walks and three hits.

The Chillicothe Paints left no doubt in the outcome with three runs in the ninth. The Chillicothe Paints scored in the ninth on a two-run single by Joe Hoscheit and an RBI single by Chad Sedio.

Hoscheit racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Chillicothe Paints.

Jalen Miller (3-2) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out eight, and allowed five runs.
