The Chillicothe Paints (26-12) didn't have a chance on Monday, as the Springfield Sliders (7-31) won in blowout fashion, 8-2 at Robin Roberts Field.

A three-run double by Dominick Bregar helped the Springfield Sliders score three runs in the fourth. The Springfield Sliders had one hit in the inning.

Jake Ingold did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Springfield Sliders, reaching base three times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Chris Powell struck out 11, paving the way for a the Springfield Sliders win. Powell allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk over seven innings.

Joe Hoscheit had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.
