Zach Jacobs went 2-3 as the Chillicothe Paints (25-10) took home a 2-0 victory over the Butler Blue Sox (21-16) at VA Memorial Stadium on Friday.

Keegan Akin handled the Butler Blue Sox's lineup with ease, racking up four strikeouts. The Chillicothe Paints' pitcher tossed 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Kyle Zaorski had an impressive outing against the Chillicothe Paints' lineup. The Chillicothe Paints managed just two hits off of Zaorski, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Jason Johnson improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Chillicothe Paints. Johnson struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Adam Bleday (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
