Mitch Gasbarro knocked in three runs, helping the Quincy Gems (22-14) to a 5-4 victory over the Springfield Sliders (6-30) on Friday at Quincy Stadium.

The Springfield Sliders couldn't get anything going so long as Tyler Knight was on the hill. Knight gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Tyler Feece (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
