Jake Eikleberry kept the Terre Haute Rex (22-14) off the board during his six innings of work and the Hannibal Cavemen (17-19) beat the Terre Haute Rex, 8-3.

Eikleberry struck out one and allowed four walks and three hits.

Brandon Bentson led the Hannibal Cavemen's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Matthew Chavarria had an impressive outing against the Hannibal Cavemen's lineup. Chavarria held the Hannibal Cavemen hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Tommy Strunc (3-2) took the loss for the Terre Haute Rex. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out six.
