The Terre Haute Rex (21-13) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 18-2 win over the Springfield Sliders (6-27) at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

Greg Jacknewitz recorded his second win of the year for the Terre Haute Rex. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Jacknewitz struck out one, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Nick Hellman (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
