The Hannibal Cavemen (15-15) and the Danville Dans (19-13) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Hannibal Cavemen capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-6 win at Danville Stadium.

Jeff Smith reached base three times in the game for the Hannibal Cavemen. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Curtis Olvey racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Danville Dans. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Justin Hertzmann improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. Hertzmann struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.

Cam Wysocki (2-1) took the loss for the Danville Dans. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
