With the West Virginia Miners leading by one, Brosseau came to the plate and singled, plating David Martinelli.
Paul Trenhaile had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Joe Schrimpf led the Richmond RiverRats' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the seventh inning and doubled in the ninth inning.
Adam Manner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
