The Danville Dans take out the Terre Haute Rex with help from Olvey, 4-1

Curtis Olvey had two extra base hits, sparking the Danville Dans (14-11) to a 4-1 victory over the Terre Haute Rex (15-9) on Monday at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

He doubled in the first and sixth innings.

Bryan Baker racked up six strikeouts in the the Danville Dans win. Baker allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks over seven innings.

The Danville Dans couldn't get anything going as long as Kevin Weissheier was pitching. The Danville Dans managed just two hits off of the the Terre Haute Rex's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.

Brandon Allen (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
