Tyler Feece kept the Danville Dans (10-10) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Springfield Sliders (4-15) beat the Danville Dans, 3-1.

Feece allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four.

Greg Basalyga racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Springfield Sliders. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Despite the loss, the Danville Dans' AJ Childerson dominated the Springfield Sliders' batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.

Childerson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
