Ryan Cooper had two extra base hits, helping the Lorain County Ironmen (8-12) to a 5-4 victory over the Chillicothe Paints (12-6) on Wednesday at VA Memorial Stadium.

The Chillicothe Paints had no answer for J T Brubaker, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Chillicothe Paints managed just two hits off of T Brubaker, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out six during his seven innings of work.

Patrick Riehl (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
