Travis Lakins kept the Terre Haute Rex (7-5) off the board during his six innings of work and the Chillicothe Paints (9-4) beat the Terre Haute Rex, 9-1.

Lakins allowed three hits, no walks and struck out five.

The Chillicothe Paints blew out the Terre Haute Rex thanks to seven hits, including zero extra base hits. The Chillicothe Paints scored four runs in the eighth on the Chillicothe Paints scored in the eighth on , a triple by Adam Gauthier, a sacrifice fly by Zach Jacobs, and a sacrifice fly by Chad Sedio.
