Christian Cavaness went 2-5, sparking the Hannibal Cavemen (8-5) to a 7-4 victory over the Springfield Sliders (2-10) on Thursday at Clemens Field.

Dylan Terrell picked up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. Terrell pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out three.

Corey Dempster got on base two times in the game for the Springfield Sliders. He singled in the seventh inning.

Alex Siddle pitched lights out for the Springfield Sliders. Siddle gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Jake Haberer (0-2) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
