Taylor baffled the Lorain County Ironmen, striking out nine batters. The Butler Blue Sox's pitcher gave up just two hits over eight shutout innings.
A walk-off double by Andrew Gronski gave the Lorain County Ironmen the win.
Gronski was solid at the plate for the Lorain County Ironmen. Gronski went 2-5 and drove in one. He singled in the eighth inning and doubled in the twelfth inning.
Jake Hall got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Hall struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.
Austin Ross couldn't get it done on the bump for the Butler Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
