Brett Marr went 1-1, sparking the Hannibal Cavemen (1-0) to a 5-3 victory over the Quincy Gems (0-1) on Wednesday at Clemens Field.

Dylan Terrell picked up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. Terrell pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out five.

Joseph Mortillaro was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
